I had the pleasure of taking Jaz’s 10 week Excel training course. I had always found Excel daunting so was concerned about how I’d find it but Jaz put all apprehensions to rest from day 1. He finds a way to make Excel not only simple but fun and since taking the course I feel confident in Excel and keen to learn more.  His passion is contagious and his good humour makes it a session I looked forward to each week. I highly recommend him to all!

I attended Jaz's 10 week Excel course and found it extremely useful. As well as growing my Excel knowledge, he gave lots of tips and shortcuts that save me time on a daily basis. He also managed to make his lessons fun and interesting, meaning that everyone in the class was engaged and looked forward to our weekly sessions.  Outside of the classes, Jaz was extremely knowledgeable and always helpful if I came to him with Excel questions that were outside of topics covered in the course.

I spent my last 10 weeks learning Excel with Jaz Gillon.  The skills I’ve acquired during this 10 week course will help me a lot with my day to day work. I’ve became more confident working with Excel and efficient while performing different tasks, I can now better present, summarize/visualize the data and most importantly I will save a lot of my time while doing it.  I must say this was one of the best “technical" training I’ve been to, which was delivered in such a professional & fun way. I was amazed by the level of enthusiasm and energy in the room and all the participants being constantly engaged.  Jaz is the key to the success of this training. Thank you Jaz!

I enrolled on a Excel course that Jaz was teaching during Q1 of 2017.  I found the course informative and highly engaging. The content was split out in a concise and easily digestible format that was easy to follow and refer back to.  What differentiated Jaz's course compared to other training courses I have attended was his ability to engage every member of the group. He made the course interactive and linked all the various excel functions continuously throughout the 10 weeks course which meant that we wouldn't forget the concepts that we had learnt in the earlier weeks.  In addition, he was always available to help us with excel issues that we came across in our day to day jobs that were not part of the course. For example I had one particular complex issue, which Jaz very kindly worked out a formula for me to use during his own time.  Overall I really enjoyed the course and I would highly recommend other colleagues to attend any courses taught by Jaz.

Jaz is a phenomenal facilitator, speaker and teacher. I first encountered his engaging style of teaching when I used his Microsoft Excel learning notes.  He is a remarkable speaker and is able to facilitate programs in an engaging and efficient fashion.  All of this is based on the On-boarding sessions that he was leading for Refinitiv's newcomers earlier on this month in London.  I learnt a great deal from Jaz and look forward to more of his sessions in the near future.  Jaz, thank you.

I have gone through Jaz’s onboarding program dedicated for new hires and internal transfers joining the Sales and Account Management organization in the Data & Analytics division program and had Jaz as one of my primary contacts to assist with on boarding. The program was flexible, in depth, and met the needs… no small task for an organization with such breadth and depth as LSEG. As part of the RAMP program, Jaz has done several interviews with leadership across the organization. Jaz’s interview style had a great way of showing each person’s human side, assisting them in becoming approachable, highlighting what has been key to their success, and what they want to see from coworkers. These interviews were impressive, in that they are not scripted, and asked questions that created a comfortable atmosphere (Not garbage questions like ‘what makes you great’).  My only question is… when will Jaz be hosting his own talk show, or game show, because I want to watch!

Jaz was a facilitator of an onboarding programme I went through at LSEG. I was highly impressed by his fantastic public-speaking skills and the way he pulled all the project together. That was by far one of the best onboarding programmer I've ever went through, which provided me with a deep knowledge, upgrade of my soft skills, and what's important - lot of fun. Jaz was a core figure in the programme, making sure everything necessary was covered and was also very supportive during the experience. Jaz should continue doing the incredible job he's doing.

I worked directly with Jaz during our sales onboarding program. I have some experience working with learning professionals and have seen many great ones. Jaz is one individual I have worked with who uniquely stands out. During 8 weeks, Jaz displayed great talents in managing our virtual classes, teaching sales related concepts that are easily adapted to all learning styles and developing a genuine love of learning in his colleagues. It’s not just his teaching skills that impress me, however. Jaz was a joy to work with because of his positive attitude and ability to never give up on us and doing it with a unique sense of humour. His commitment and empathy were also necessary and valued not just by myself, but also by all of our Ramp learners. I am absolutely confident that Jaz will continue to excel in the upcoming onboarding programs. Not only did Jaz bring the kind of skills and experiences you expect from a leader, but he will also quickly become a favorite of yours and help both company and professionals grow in any way he can.
